Gozzo, open or cabin cruiser? We took a look at our classifieds section, and if you are looking for a used boat, you might want to look below. In fact, there are hulls for all tastes. From a finely restored Sorrentine gozzo (at an attractive price) to a classic small Rio with a forward cabin, passing by an “out of scale” craft in this review, namely a 9-meter Della Pasqua that is offered at a rather interesting figure. Here are 3 used boats under 25,000 euros.
Let’s start with the goiter. It is a semi-planing Sorrentino (here’s how to recognize it) with a 40hp Nanni, inboard. Therefore, no boat license is required and it reaches a top speed of 12.5 knots, while the cruising speed is 10.5 knots. The deck is large and can accommodate up to 7 people. Ideal for going swimming with family and friends, it also has a freshwater shower, which if you spend a whole day on the sea is essential, as well as stainless steel awning and full cushioning.
What’s special about it? After a refit job, the current owner added a few goodies that make it very interesting: the shipboard hatches are covered with solid mahogany battens, the deckhead is a varnished mahogany, and it has a reinforced cockpit deck covered in EVA carpet.

The small speedboat (7 meters) with a forward cabin, protected aft cockpit, a small kitchenette and separate bathroom with electric toilet. If you want an “entry-level” that also gives you the opportunity to spend a weekend away, here is the perfect boat for you. In the bow, below deck you can switch from a dinette to a double bed, making the Rio 700 the ideal cabin cruiser for small couple cruises.

There is one particular ad that we would like to point out. Among the used boats that have been listed, there is a potentially very interesting DC 9. It is a 9-meter cabin cruiser and the price is attractive. The ad explains how there is all the electrical wiring to be redone and that the engines (2 AIFO turbo diesel 250 horsepower) have been landed for overhaul. In short, there’s probably some work to be done, but if that prospect doesn’t scare you it might be worth a look.
