The world of yachts is linked to that of luxury and elegance. When this background meets the world of cars, models can be born that are exciting just to look at. The British brand, now owned by BMW, developed this model with an emphasis on those details, features, and finishes characteristic of powerboats. The line is reminiscent of that of a classic speedboat, with the rear dropping back with flaps from the aerodynamically point , extremely narrow horizontally configured taillights, and a wooden surface reminiscent of a yacht’s teak deck. Hence the name Boat Tail, reminiscent of boating.
Similarly in this area, which would be a dry bar in a boat, is the Hosting House, which in fact has everything you need for a picnic. For example, there are no less than two fridges so that champagne or iced gin is always available, cutlery by Christofle, an ultratechnological retractable parasol, and two very light stools, made of carbon, of course.
Boat Tail for Rolls-Royce represents a pivotal moment in the luxury goods industry. A truly handmade machine that is actually unique in the market. From the body to the interior, just as in the car market, everything is designed and manufactured according to the direct specifications of the customer who buys it. Rolls-Royce then states that to put together the 1,831 parts of the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail takes four years. And the waiting list is open.
