The wallypower58 made its debut in 2022 as the direct heir to the legendary
wallypower 118
, one of those boats capable of revolutionizing an entire generation,
as we explain in this interview with Luca Bassani
, founder of Wally. Today comes the outboard version of the 58, namely the wallypower58X , which, with four Mercury V12s of 600 horsepower each, develops a total output of 2,400 horsepower with a top speed of 50 knots.

If already the
wallypower58
“classic” impressed with an elegant and minimalist line, this version adds a good dose of adrenaline to the whole thing. The effort to combine four beastly 600hp Mercury V12 outboards. horsepower with a livable and spacious stern was probably the most complicated element of this new configuration.

Outboards are known to usually take away usable surface area in the aft area. In this case, retractable bulwarks and a large sundeck transform the deck into a natural beach club that, with an area of 25 square meters. Added to this is space for a hydraulic walkway, which doubles as a bathroom ladder. This solution certainly limits the footprint of the outboards, which for their part allow for absolute performance.

In terms of onboard layout, the two versions of Wally’s new 58-footer are quite similar. We refer you

The use of the new Mercury V12 engines has the advantage of shallow draft, for sailing even in shallow water. These engines, then, with their rotating feet in combination with the maneuvering joysticks, make mooring easy.

All this, combined with the ultra-deep V-shaped hull, means that the wallypower58x reaches top speeds of more than 50 knots when half-loaded and a cruising speed of 42 knots with a range of 320 nautical miles.

wallypower58X – Below Deck

The standard version of the wallypower58x has a double, full-beam salon dedicated to guests and the owner, with a day head-with separate shower-to port. On-board (natural) lighting comes from a glass panel recessed into the main deck. Forward, the master stateroom has a queen-size bed and a bathroom, which also has a separate shower.

In the flexi-guest version, a guest cabin is positioned on the port side amidships, with the salon to starboard. This configuration thus allows four adults to sleep on board. In addition, from the guest cabin, there is direct access to the day head.
