Here comes a new giant on the multihull scene, a 133-footer strong with more than 300 square meters of deck space, 10 guest beds and more than 70 square meters of photovoltaic area. It is called Cat 133, is 40.7 meters long , 16 meters wide and is signed by Tecnomar, part of The Italian Sea Group and already the signatory of the bestselling Lamborghini63(we told you about its test here).
Tecnomar Cat 133 (40.7 m) | PREVIEW
Designed according to a dynamic and visionary design, the new project developed by Tecnomar and Admiral Centro Stile boasts, first and foremost, a decidedly eye-catching look, with unprecedented lines underscored by immense windows that make it almost-transparent, offering lightness to volumes capable, instead, of maximizing every inch offered by the deck. In terms of performance, two MAN-branded V12s will help propel the new 133, with peak speeds close to 17 knots. But let’s take a closer look at how this new “glass” catamaran will be constituted.

Tecnomar Cat 133 – Project and Design
Admiral Centro Stile, in its collaboration with Tecnomar, has given birth to a catamaran that first and foremost presents itself as a futuristic and visually lighter body than its volumes and bulk would instead suggest. Starting from the profile, in fact, the murals already offer a glimpse of the concept behind the design, with a two-body structure composing the dead work. Where a lower section rises above the waterline, a second rises instead in an arched, elliptical section, running from bow to stern, joined together by a wide window. A solution that is not only structural, but also clever, offering both protected walkways and panoramic upper deck access, complete with cantilevered terraces beyond the normal continuation of the parapet. A glimpse of what the entire design is, aimed at maximizing the cruise experience and the luxury of life on board in contact with the water.

Thus, the exterior volumes run almost uninterrupted from bow to stern, uniting the rooms in an open space that projects forward all the way from the huge aft beach area (16 meters wide!) and the cockpit, ending at the bow in a large lounge area overlooking the sea. Accessible from the bow as well as from the foredecks and interior, the upper deck then complements the open spaces, behaving here as a kind of particularly large flybridge, consisting of an enclosed central body followed by a hard top and a large convivial area. Facing aft, however, two different sundecks and sofas conclude this space, spaced apart by a sea-through pool cantilevered over the cockpit.
A complex of outdoor areas spanning a multi-level area close to 300 square meters, creating a continuous layout that is at the same time well able to separate spaces and uses, offering maximum versatility to its guests. Finally, signaling the intention to also look at sustainability, more than 70 square meters of surface area is dedicated to photovoltaic panels, elements that engage both the top of the hard top and the surface of the small deckhouse present at the bow of the upper deck.
Leaving behind the exterior spaces and volumes, on this size even the enclosed areas will be nothing short of astonishing, with more than 20 total beds, divided between 10 dedicated to guests and 11 intended, instead, to accommodate the crew. In terms of layouts and subdivisions, however, we will have to wait before we know anything definite.
No secret, however, is the propulsion compartment, which will instead consist of a pair of MAN v12 engines and two bow-thrusters of 50kW each. A propulsive capacity that will provide the Cat 133 with cruising speeds of 15 knots, with peaks, at peak instead, around 17 knots of speed. Also committing the engine room, finally, will be four generators to ensure all the necessary input to the appliances and instrumentation on board.
