Vertical bow, custom interior, sporty lines and plenty of attention to comfort.
From Holland,
hand-built in aluminum, comes a new
luxury weekender, a
13.5-meter sporty and eye-catching yacht: her name is Azur 45 HT and she is the latest design by René van der Velden for Bekker Yachts.
Bekker Azur 45 H
Elegance and high-quality finishes aside, the Azur 45 HT is a hull with several aces up its sleeve, details and qualities that make it from the start a weekender not to be underestimated.
First of all, its layout, dedicated as much to outdoor living as to the comfort and convenience of the interior, the latter designed for 4 guests on two cabins, but fully-custom thanks to the aluminum construction.
On the other hand, the performance-related component, with over 30 knots of top speed, depending on the chosen engines, which range between 880 and 1200 total horsepower.
Bekker Azur 45 HT – Exterior
If aesthetics and quality want their share, the same is true for comfort and intelligent layout, a strength that seems to immediately emerge when looking at the layout of this hull.
The exteriors, in fact, immediately welcome with a large aft volume dedicated as much to relaxation as to conviviality, strong with a large sundeck and an entire central lounge area, protected, as the name HT already indicates, by a Hard Top with large windows and visually light.
Here, sheltered, three separate sofas offer convivial spaces dedicated to its guests, complete with an open-air galley complete with ice machine, chillers, barbeque and induction plates.
Another relaxation space, never more so than this one intended for sun worshippers, the forward sunbed, carved out at the foot of the deckhouse and easily accessible via protected walkways.
Bekker Azur 45 HT – Interior
Built in aluminum, the Azur 45 HT does not hide its custom potential, but that is not to say that it does not offer an intelligent layout right from the start.
With a height of no less than 2 meters, below deck in fact offers two double cabins with more than adequate volumes, respectively positioned forward, the owner’s, aft the one dedicated to guests.
A particularly spacious bathroom concludes the interior volumes, creating, overall, an elegant and well usable environment, both as a weekender and as a small cruiser for short cruises.
Motorization
Coming to the more technical front, the hull of the 45 HT, developed by Studio Delta, offers 4 distinct engine options.
In a first case, a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 600s will offer 440 horsepower per engine, but IPS 650 (480 hp), IPS 700 (550 hp) and IPS 800 (600 hp) solutions are also available, thus offering up to 1200 total horsepower and quite different performance, depending on one’s needs.
