Certain lines, shapes and colors touch particular heartstrings. In the collective imagination, especially nautical, the 1960s style is an unparalleled pinnacle in terms of style and design. Codecasa’s new Classic Yacht 24 is born exactlyfrom that precisely “classic” taste, but equipped with the most modern technology .
Classic Yacht 24, a 1960s-style marvel
Just launched in Viareggio by the Codecasa shipyard, this yacht will be delivered in 2024. The brainchild of Luca Dini of Luca Dini Design and Architecture, naval architect Francesco Rogantin of Names Studio, in collaboration with Kurt Lehmann of Yacht Moments, it is a 24-meter for long cruises .
Elements of classic and modern are mixed in this motor yacht with a “vintage” flavor. Yet on board, the latest technology takes the lion’s share of the spotlight: there is a spacious beach club aft and a large sundeck that connects to the yacht’s interior upper deck via a sliding glass door.
Contrary to current custom, the yacht will also have a tender, but forward on the deck where it will be stowed. Also interesting is how this support vessel will trace the style of the mother ship in terms of design.
Classic Yacht 24 – Interior and Cabin
The classic motor yacht can accommodate up to eight people on board in four cabins and can also accommodate three crew members, including the captain.
The Codecasa yacht has an aluminum hull and superstructure. In terms of performance, it is powered by two MAN engines, enabling it to reach a maximum speed of 25 knots.
