Founded in 1967 in Sarnico, on the shores of Lake Iseo, Besenzoni makes yacht components with unmistakable designs. Its portfolio offers a wide range of products and patents thanks to which the company collaborates with the biggest brands in the nautical industry. What distinguishes Besenzoni are the philosophy, design, and ability to merge aesthetics and functionality to create products that stylistically, but also enhance the owner’s user experience. Just as was the case with the Manta armchair which was successfully presented at the Mets 2024 exhibition.

So much so that it received a DAME Design Awards nomination during the event with this motivation: “A visually striking helm chair straight out of a science fiction movie, Manta is equipped with adjustable automatic electric for the headrest, backrest tilt and footrest. Although the sinuous curves of the upholstered sections catch the eye, one appreciates the sculpted and clean design of the seat structure, which increases the impact of the entire seat.” The Manta armchair is made in five different variants: Class, Comfort, Smart, Mini and Sport. Each model differs in features to suit different boat and owner styles. The Comfort has a headrest that can also be adjusted manually; the Class has wider and longer armrests to accommodate joystick controls in addition to the controller; Smart, Mini and Sport give the option of having or not having a reclining backrest, narrow armrests if no controls are needed, electric stand, wireless charging and usb port.

Quality, state-of-the-art marine accessories

Two are the latest additions to the electric Passarelle series, at the “antipodes”: the PE660 Jolly, designed for small boats with little stern space, and the PE665, which brings this system to larger boats as well.
PE 660 Jolly, is specially designed for outboard boats and is available in both a BOX version for concealed closure and a stern-mounted installation with external attachment. The three-stage automatic gangway with all-electric operation PE 665C is made of polished stainless steel and has a length of 4 meters.
