TOP 2021 New 30-metre boats

Princess Yachts X95

Have you ever seen a 29 metre long boat with a 27 metre flybridge? Entrusted to Bernard Olesinski for naval architecture and Pininfarina for design, the new Princess X95 is the equivalent of the crossover in the car world. Owners today want more and more space. And so boats are “rising”, growing in volume and in floor space. The main deck of this boat is unlike anything you’re used to: it has no wheelhouse. It looks like a large loft with an all-round view where you can choose from various layouts. It houses a wheelhouse and sky lounge in the enclosed area and a large relaxation and dining area aft.

LOA: 29.1 m – B.max: 6.77 m – Engine: 2×1900 HPp (MAN V12) – Fuel tank: 4.000 l – Info: www.princessitalia.it

Azimut Magellano 30

The Azimut range of long-distance and ocean-going yachts is named after the famous Portuguese navigator and explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Magellan motorboats are “contemporary shuttles”, timeless vessels with voluminous lines and important marine qualities. Now what has already been dubbed the flagship of flagships, the Azimut Magellano 30 Metre, is on its way. The aim is to create an elegant shuttle, characterised by classic lines revisited in the name of the most sophisticated contemporary style. Once again it will bear the signature of Ken Freivokh. In addition to the exterior appearance, this boat was designed for long voyages and therefore the hull has been the subject of numerous important studies. On the Azimut Magellano 30 it is Dual Mode, which means that the boat can be sailed in displacement mode with lower consumption and reduced speed, but with greater range. When necessary, however, it can also make all its power felt.

Ferretti Yachts 1000

The widebody trend is now well established. The latest Ferretti arrival, the Ferretti Yachts 1000, confirms it all. The boat no longer just grows in length. It “swells”, increasing in volume. Widebody powerboats are moving in the direction of satisfying the need for more volume, but without sacrificing the pleasure of sailing, even at high speeds. Ferretti Yachts presents its new flagship of over 100 feet, which in pure widebody style has a flybridge directly connected to the bow. The positioning of the windows gives it a very attractive look, even though we are dealing with a boat that is 30-plus metres long. From the stern platform, the teak is then used on the curvature of the hatch, on the walkways and on the access stairs to the flybridge, right up to covering the external helm station. Ferretti Yachts 1000 has 40 m² of living space at the stern only.

LOA: 30.13 m – B.max: 6.81 m – Draft: 2.28 m – Displacement: 115 t – Fuel tank: 9.000 l – Water tank: 1.320 l – Passengers: 20 – Engine: MTU 16V 2000 M86 – Max speed : 24 knots – Cruising speed: 20 knots – INFO: www.ferretti-yachts.com/it-it
