Azimut’s line of motor yachts for long voyages and crossings is named after the famous Portuguese navigator and explorer Ferdinand Magellan. The widebody trend is now well established. The latest addition to the Ferretti fleet, the Ferretti Yachts 1000, confirms this. Today, boats are no longer just getting longer. They’re “bulking up,” increasing in volume. Widebody motorboats are designed to meet the need for more available space without sacrificing the pleasure of cruising, even at high speeds. Ferretti Yachts presents its new flagship, measuring over 100 feet, which—in true widebody style—features a flybridge directly connected to the bow. The placement of the windows creates a very striking look, even on a boat measuring over 30 meters. From the aft swim platform, the teak continues along the curve of the transom, the walkways, and the stairs leading to the flybridge, all the way to the exterior helm station.
