Far, far away, yet related. Today we show you two comparison boats that we tested at the last Boat Shows 2025. They are two 15-meter cruisers, boats that have managed to add modernity to their “classic” lines. We are talking about the new Sasga Menorquin 48 HT and the Apreamare Gozzo 48 Cabin. Same size, but very different solutions. This is what they look like.

Apreamare 48 Cabin – Video, test and price

Apreamare is the symbol of the Sorrentine gozzo in the world. At the Cannes Yachting Festival, it presented the new flagship of its Gozzo range, the 48 Cabin, which follows the modern yet timeless style first designed in 2020 with the first Gozzo 35, declining it over a length of almost 15 meters. Space, solidity and quality on board, as tradition dictates; below deck, however, planing hull and IPS motorization. We climbed aboard to try her out and tell you about her.

Sasga Menorquin 48 HT

Classic lines that are easy to fall in love with. Solid construction and plenty of space both above and below deck-the new Menorquin, once on board, immediately makes you imagine long sailings.

Just over 15 meters long by nearly 5 meters wide she fills the current gap in the range between the 42 and 55 and does so without betraying the Minorcan shipyard’s DNA. So sophisticated workmanship of both solid woods and fiberglass and elegant, understated, marine fittings designed for experienced owners who know how to go to sea immediately stand out.

In the engine room there are two Volvo Penta D6 440 hp each with axle line transmission. Absolute cruising comfort to sail a lot while enjoying the pleasure of the voyage.

Three cabins, with the master cabin in the bow, and a choice of a configuration with the galley on the lower deck or on the main deck. On the fly: a second helm station, another galley, living area, and, again, plenty of space to enjoy cruising.
