Among the small opens on 8 meters in length, some boats are designed for fishing. We have chosen 5 that might be a good opportunity if you find them to buy used. Two were attractively priced when new and, taking 2016 as the year of sale, may have a value around or below 50 thousand euros today (Bazzerla and Pursuit). The other three, on the other hand, are real gems of about 100,000 euros; but dreaming is not a crime, especially for a fisherman!
A fishing open inspired by the lines of American classics, but entirely Italian, from the Bazzerla shipyard. It is a fisherman with clean lines, which in only six and a half meters proves to be complete. The lines are essential, with no concessions for frills: all space is devoted to optimizing life on board. The deep-V hull ensures precise wave entry and remarkable control even in the tightest turns. The center cockpit console is simple and squarish, but not without the space to accommodate the necessary instrumentation; the T-Top that shelters the pilot and co-pilot is also cleverly used to do so, while a tall windshield with steel handrails protects against splashes if sailing in rough seas. The dunnages hide the live and catch tanks. The cockpit is, in keeping with tradition, clear, so that fishermen can move easily in any situation. The maximum power provided by the shipyard is remarkable, reaching 150 horsepower with outboard motors-a choice that makes the Bazzerla F1 also suitable for those who like to race and go fast.
Beautiful and powerful, used boats include the 230 Vantage, a bow rider that happily marries the needs of watersports enthusiasts with those of family sailors. It also adds to a very pleasing look, with muted hull tints embellished with a red insert along the waterline. The new 230 Vantage, therefore has a spacious bow area, further expanded by the classic squared bow that characterizes almost all of the American shipyard’s open production. This area is a comfortable living room with cushions, backrests and cup holders; all of which can also be used as an extended sunbathing area. The cockpit is fully equipped for comfortable living aboard, dining and relaxing without delay. Here, in fact, there are several seats that, thanks to the possibility of translating the backrest, can compose a nice dinette, which is also served by a kitchen cabinet. When it comes time for sports, you can decide whether to frolic on a wakeboard or do a quieter activity such as fishing, since the boat is equipped for that as well.
Among the boats used for fishing, Capelli made the Osia 315 to meet the needs of fishermen as well as companions. The hull made of infusion ensures a strong and lightweight structure. The deck follows a strict thoroughbred fisherman’s layout without disdaining solutions that help improve on-board comfort and make any ladies feel comfortable as well: at the bow, two broadside seats are conformed to become two cozy chaise lounges, sundecks on the cabin deckhouse with headrests, ample storage spaces, and high, protective bulwarks. On the starboard side of the deckhouse is access to the cabin. The dashboard is well protected by the tubular aluminum frame with the fiberglass T-Top and the crystal and plexiglass windshield with wiper. In particular, the canopy is designed to accommodate some of the instrumentation. Spacious and livable interior cabin with double berth, cabinet that can be set up as a galley and several storage compartments.
Here is a powerful fisherman with an American center console who is always ready to embark on quick fishing trips. The Americans at Grady White offer this fishing boat seemingly essential in lines, but always ready to indulge those who want to engage in even challenging fishing trips. The remarkable scramble offered by the two powerful 300-horsepower outboard motors make it possible to reach the fishing spots in a short time. As for the cockpit, in addition to the interior side padding, which comes in handy when one has to lean outboard, the configuration sees the availability of various facilities, rod holders, bait cutting board, 210- and 412-liter catch tubs with overboard discharge, and everything else needed to prepare bait and successfully chase prey. There is also no shortage of fold-down seating along the transom, as well as cushioning in the bow that goes to form a nice outdoor living area. The control console is centrally located, so as to leave adequate space at the sides to move smoothly from bow to stern, while also enjoying the protection of the higher bulwarks.
The Pursuit 200 is a fisher center console that in compact size offers good comfort and the necessary equipment for fishing. Small American boat in which the cockpit has been optimized to the best of its ability to offer in a small space what is needed for sport fishing. Here, then, are two seats placed in the two corners of the transom, under which two tanks are also hidden. These two compartments also have the special feature that when going out to fish they can be used to hold live bait and caught fish; if, on the other hand, you go out to simply relax in the sun, they are very useful as storage lockers for various materials. The pilot’s seat is on a tubular frame, under which there is space for a removable refrigerator. The possibility of mounting an awning, then, always ensures a shaded area. But if you want to be in the shade in a more protective environment, there is always the compartment made under the control console, which can also be used as a storage area for miscellaneous materials and as a small dressing room or toilet compartment. The boat mounts a 150-horsepower max outboard motor.
