Hard tops are a big hit among used boats. The phenomenon of this type exploded in the early 2000s. And it hasn’t stopped expanding yet. Although today this type of boat is more frequently called a coupe. In 2020 hard tops are boats that have a canopy supported by a structure that is not necessarily connected to the windscreen. In any case, when these magnificent five were presented, the acronym HT was the one that best identified them. Mainly because they were the first interpretations of the type on small to medium sizes, from 10 to 13 meters.

Airon Marine 4300 T-Top
Reformed in 2008 Eco-Coupé, because its review by the cantiere Airon Marine has been more focused on anti-pollution solutions. These included a solar panel connected to the batteries, which can then be recharged without the use of a third alternator. Changes have also been made to the water system in order to save money. For the rest, this 12.98-metre boat offers three cabins, two of which are double and one twin, plus two bathrooms and the square.

Beneteau MonteCarlo 37 HT
It was the first model of the new generation of open cruiser of the French Beneteau, which still lives and with great health. A sign that the insights that appeared on the 37 HT, 11.29 meters long, were right. The boat is the result of a project that best combines the refinement of aesthetic details with design solutions dedicated to functionality and technical aspects. For example, it has the Airstep hull, which uses a flow of air to improve hydrodynamics, and the dinette in the cockpit can be transformed into a sunbathing surface. There are two cabins.

Galeon 330 HT
Born in a Polish shipyard Galeon the 330 HT, which is 10.12 meters long, comes from the fly version, slightly sporty. The external lines are therefore not very tapered, on the contrary, quite impressive, but on board offers incomparable spaces with other 10 meters. Spacious and stylish environments, with combinations of dark wood and beige leather. The saloon takes light from the hard top even when closed, as the sliding section is transparent. Elan Power E35
is the model with which the Slovenian shipyard Elan, a well-known sailboat manufacturer, made its debut in the motor world. In its 11.01 meters has a cockpit equipped with two sofas perimeter that extend up to the hard top, going to compose a living sheltered by the roof. Below deck there are two double cabins and the square in the middle of the boat, in rooms well finished with wood and teak.

Marquis 420 SC
All-Italian style for this American express branded Marquis Yachts 12.40 m long. Designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. Under the hard top extends a real saloon, whose furniture is inspired by that of a fly, rather than the cockpit of an open. In an interior design style there is in fact a living room composed of a sofa and a piece of furniture with TV, plus the kitchen in a semi-detached room. The compartmentalisation below deck has two cabins and a bathroom.

Stama 37 HT
At the time of the launch it was the flagship of the Sicilian shipyard Arturo Stabile. And it is still in production. This hard top version is characterized by round shapes. On this 11.90 metre boat you can therefore fully enjoy the cockpit, which includes a sunbathing area at the stern, dinette and kitchen in the middle, and a forward chaise longue, next to the wheelhouse. Below deck is a forward cabin and a double aft cabin. The square is in the middle of the boat.

English style sport coupé, like the shipyard Sealine, even if today part of the Hanse group, the SC39, is 11.96 meters long and offers on board elegant rooms dominated by clear shades. Among its features you can appreciate the closing door aft of the saloon and a special system patented by the yard, which allows you to expand the cockpit, already large. On the lower deck, there are two cabins, one double and one twin, both with bathrooms.
