Summer is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for a boat for the summer, you’ll want to take a look at BaM’s classifieds section, our space dedicated to our readers’ used boat listings. Today we go from the small six-meter open to the 11-meter maxi-rib that is as good as new (from 2021) via a cabin cruiser that is also suitable as a weekender. We go in order of size.
Sessa 6 meters
A pure little open, ideal for going swimming or enjoying the beauty of sinking the throttle and running on the water. Today in our classifieds section is a six-foot Sessa powerboat with a 115-horsepower two-stroke Evinrude engine. Of course the engine might turn some people’s noses up since Evinrude has, for several years now, ceased production. In any case, the price at which this open is offered leaves room for remotorization. Suitable for both water skiing and relaxing outings, it is also promised with impeccable upholstery.

WINDLASS LAVER 20.5
Long live practical boats. An example of a simple but functional Italian boat boat at an all in all interesting price for what it offers. Let’s talk about this Laver 20.5, a smart weekender that in 6 1/2 meters still manages to sleep four. Plus there is a separate bathroom with its own sink. We are dealing with a practically full-optional hull because it is equipped with a wet-bar in the cockpit, outdoor shower, electric windlass with remote control, electric trim tabs and fishfinder in addition to the stereo system. An interesting vessel no doubt even as a first boat, but one that is very complete in terms of equipment.

Sacs Strider 11 EFB Sundeck
Okay, here we make a fairly major upward leap. We’re talking about a dinghy that is about five years old, high-end, a real fireball. It’s a SACS Strider 11, one of the hottest models from the all-Italian shipyard that specializes in maxi-ribs. Inboard-outboard motorization is not specified, but models like the Strider 11, with both stern feet and outboards, are no strangers to top speeds near 50 knots. Several of the yard’s packages are installed on board: the Cruiser, Electronic, Elegance one, making it effectively full-optional.
