These are the cabin cruisers, hulls created to combine the comfort of a day on the water with the pleasures of a weekend at anchorage. Today in our classifieds section we have scouted out four cabin cruisers, between six and seven meters, ideal for those who want to experience these moments with an undemanding vehicle and, above all, with an affordable starting price. Quicksilver is one of the most popular brands of the Brunswick Group, a boating giant whose brands also include Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Navan, and Mercury Marine and Racing engines. In short, the quintessential U.S. boats, even here at home. The model in question is a 650 Cruiser, and the ad describes it as being in excellent condition and also having recently renewed upholstery. Not much data is exposed about the motorization, but the propulsion system has about 300 hours of sailing time. It’s definitely worth a look, considering the price as well, if you’re looking for a compact and practical “cruiser.”
An interestingly sized cabin cruiser, 8.9 meters overall and 3 meters wide, also suitable for a family cruising. This Gobbi is ideal for setting off on a cruise considering also that it has a galley and sleeps four below deck, but it also enjoys interesting spaces outside, including a large protected cockpit. Interesting accessories also include dual indoor and outdoor stereo systems, hydraulic flaps, water heater, and two 170-hp Volvo Penta KAD 32 diesel engines with about 260 hours of running time. The announcement also states that the boat is at the berth, but there is a possibility of sea trials.
A pure vessel from 2005 with a galley and a space in the bow with a kitchen and a large dinette below deck with good brightness given also by the presence of windows. There is a 300-horsepower gasoline V8 Mercruiser engine on board, and in 2023 the boat was overhauled and trimmed in many aspects. Optional features include GPS and Garmin autopilot.
Let us now look at an Italian cabin cruiser of almost 8 meters. In this case we are dealing with a model equipped with outboard propulsion with two 175-horsepower Mercury V6s. This sacrifices the aft platform to some extent, but allows for attractive performance and gaining space below deck. In addition, the engines (whose hours are not specified) are fairly new as they are dated 2020. The interior is voluminous, as well as the bathroom turns out to be quite large and suitable even for departing on short cruises.
