The Boston Whaler Outrage 18 is a model that has remained in Boston production for several years. The one for sale below is from 2001, which is one of the last versions. We are talking about a shipyard with a long history (read it all here) for which not too much introduction is needed. What is special about the one on display in our classifieds section is that it is offered with the road trailer. We were just talking about it in this article about how to buy the boat while spending as little as possible (including maintenance), and the cart turned out to be a good ally. This model has a Yamaha 200hp two-stroke outboard and a Cresci road cart. Here’s a bargain, namely this 2013 Pirelli 880 (refitted in 2023) that has a new (2024) engine on board with zero hours, a 350-horsepower Mercruiser. Also new like it are the batteries and services. Already that, with still its 12-month warranty, is certainly an interesting feature. Pirelli ribs are known for their build and sailing qualities. This one, while not in the most powerful configuration, is still a pretty nimble and fun rib. In our classifieds section is a gem from 1997: a Fairline Targa 37. The British shipyard is known for the quality of its hulls and solutions, so we won’t dwell too much on its history. This hull is ideal for cruising because to the outdoor spaces, also protected, but comfortable as the cockpit and the bow sundeck, it combines a very livable below deck equipped with a galley and dinette. In short, a true cruiser of considerable size at an attractive figure. Let’s see what this specific specimen brings instead. On board are Volvo Penta kad42 engines landed and serviced 2024 and then several new items: the bow thruster (Sleipner brand), exterior cushions, cockpit teak, windlass, electrical system and batteries, handcuffs, the nautical toilet and black water tank.
