They are absolutely among the most aesthetically appealing and sought-after boats on the market. If we add to this the fact that they are now built by a company like Cantiere del Pardo, VanDutch is at the top of the list of high-end dayboat brands. The latest addition to the range is the VanDutch 56, which promises innovative solutions right from its inception. Among them, in addition to the layout, Volvo Penta IPS propulsion and Garmin electronics.

Aesthetics apart, a good boat also needs a functional layout and high-level performance. The lines of this new 17-metre VanDutch are however minimalist, in keeping with the brand’s tradition. And rest assured that no one will ever exchange a VanDutch for another boat on the market today. Hardly even two 56s will be found alike. The VanDutch 56, like the other models in the range, can be customized from the fabrics to the colours of the on-board cushions, as well as the hull.

Let’s start from the deck. The VanDutch 56 is a day boat capable of indulging that desire to escape that the powerboat embodies. The boat means freedom and to enjoy the sea to the full you need the right one. From the stern there is a large stern platform that can be lowered for easy access to the water and a sundeck with adjustable backrests.

The cockpit accommodates some L-shaped sofas with a central table suitable both for convivial moments (the boat can accommodate up to 12 people on deck) and for relaxing on a couple’s cruise, for example. For all requirements there is a wet bar with a refrigerator and a diffuse sound system so the boat can be transformed into a large floating platform.

Garmin Marine’s interface with Empirbus technology allows to manage every on-board function from the console, which features two 16-inch displays as standard. Garmin domotics will make you feel at home, with everything at hand. The dashboard is clean, as minimalist as the boat, yet functional to the maximum

VanDutch 56 – Interiot

Depending on the owner’s needs and intended use of the boat, the new VanDutch 56 comes in two different layouts. The first features a lounge below deck with a U-shaped sofa and a central table in the bow. Aft, on the port side, is a linear galley and an L-shaped sofa.

For guests who want more privacy there is instead the “cabin” layout with a master cabin and double bed in the bow. In the aft part of the interior there is always the solution with an L-shaped sofa and linear galley, but it is also possible to have a second twin-bedded cabin.

VanDutch 56 – Propulsion

Among the top propulsion systems on board boats today is undoubtedly the IPS from Volvo Penta. the VanDutch 56 is the first model in the range to offer the Volvo IPS engine. This boat, thus fitted out, is designed to offer maximum manoeuvrability. The standard configuration of this VanDutch powerboat includes two 800 IPS or, as an option, two 950 IPS.
