Venice Boat Show 2021, so far everything is confirmed. From May 29 to June 6, the Arsenal will host many national and international nautical brands.

Venice Boat Show 2021

After a forced stop in 2020, the Venice Boat Show confirms this year’s event. To date there are 130 exhibitors in attendance, from boating to accessories. Boats in the water, on the other hand, exceeded 150. The event is organized by Vela Spa on behalf of the City of Venice, has the collaboration of the Italian Navy and the partnership of the Venice Rovigo Chamber of Commerce.

The numbers of the Venice Boat Show 2021

In the very center of Venice, the city’s historic Arsenal consists of a 50,000-square-meter water basin. Then there are more than 1,500 linear meters of piers , 10,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space, and covered pavilions totaling about 10,000 meters. A unique place in the world where naval art is enhanced by the context and simultaneous presence of the Biennale International Architecture Exhibition.

As of now, the 2021 Venice Boat Show is gathering 50 percent more boats in the water than the total number achieved in 2019 and more than 20 percent more exhibitors.

Powerboats

  • Motor Yacht, with boats from 15 to 40 meters in length that will be displayed in the “main yacht riviera” and the new docks under construction.
  • Yacht a Vela, the 2021 novelty comes with a 96-meter linear double-sided pier entirely dedicated to sailing boats from the most prestigious international and Italian shipyards;
  • Sustainability and environmental impact, i.e., mobility and electric, hybrid and innovative engines with the participation of several dozen Italian and European yards;

The “electric” regatta is also coming

In addition, the program includes the first Full Electric regatta called “E REGATTA,” organized by partners Assonautica di Venezia, Associazione Motonautica di Venezia, VeniceAgenda2028, Venti di Cultura and IWI-Inland Waterways International, with endurance, agility and speed tests. A dedicated area called E-Village will also be created, where companies in the electric and eco-sustainable powertrain industry will exhibit.

Venice salon is electric

“A challenge,” says the mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro – that of engine hybridization or the transition to full-electric, which will become a reality at the show, with new models being unveiled. Municipality and Metropolitan City of Venice have already allocated 1.5 million euros for the transition to reduced and/or zero emission engines.”
