THE CONNECTED BOAT
One of Garmin’s most important innovations, following the U.S. giant’s acquisition of Trigentic, are Empirbus products, a big step toward the “connected boat.” the user will be able to have every detail of the vessel under control, from lights to fuel and gray or clear water levels, from bilge to navigation data. “Everything that is controllable from an analog switch,” D’Amato explains, “you can now manage from our multifunction screens.”
