Not a Cap Camarat, not a Merry Fisher, but the dawn of a new era. Today we’re taking you aboard the brand-new Jeanneau EX 34, the flagship of the shipyard’s new line, which aims to strike the perfect balance between the explorer spirit of Finnish nautical tradition and the desire to experience the sea in true Mediterranean style.

Jeanneau EX 34

Experience and Explorer. The dual meaning of the acronym EX clearly conveys the project’s underlying philosophy:a no-frills, easy-to-handleboat designed to let you enjoy the sea in a casual way without sacrificing the thrill of adventure.

The new Jeanneau EX 34 is available in two different versions— Cabin and Hardtop —which share the same design: 10.4 meters in length, an asymmetrical layout, a compact and lightweight deep-V hull, a claimed top speed of over 40 knots, spacious convertible areas, two cabins, and a central bathroom.

On both models, life on board revolves around five areas: the stern platform and cockpit, the central salon, the helm station, and the forward salon.

The difference, however, lies in the layout of the wheelhouse.

The EX 34 Hardtop is the most “open” version, designed for outdoor living. The wheelhouse can be opened and closed quickly depending on weather conditions, while the cockpit transforms into a relaxation area or galley.

The EX 34 Cabin, on the other hand, features a fully enclosed and protected helm station with large glass panels and a sliding door that connects it to the cockpit. Heating and air conditioning further expand its versatility, making it better suited for off-season cruising and one- or two-night stays.

Engine Specifications and Price

The first sea trials of the new Jeanneau EX 34 are scheduled for spring 2027, but the shipyard has already announced that the new model will be equipped with twin 250-cavalli Yamaha outboard engines in the standard version, increasing to 300 horsepower in the more powerful version.

The expected top speed is around 45 knots, while the starting price is 180,000 euros, excluding VAT and accessories.
