With an ambitious promise of style, comfort, and environmental friendliness, Vizyo Yachts unveils its newest design, the Vizyo 25, a day cruiser designed for leisure in company, be it friends, loved ones, or guests of all sorts. Vizyo thus promises a level platform, ideal for savoring in full relaxation, sea, sun and company. All while being environmentally friendly, thanks to a hull designed to minimize friction, limit fuel consumption, and even mount full-electric propulsion.

Presented at the Bologna International Boat Show, this 8-meter made-in-Italy vessel aims to combine the best Italian tradition with technology and sustainability, thus providing low-impact sailing, yet without sacrificing performance. The Lombardo-Siciliano shipyard, under the leadership of designer and owner Vincenzo Zizzo, actually has experience far longer than its registry life, thanks to the experiences of Zizzo himself, who was previously employed at highly prestigious shipyards such as Azimut Benetti. And this know-how is combined in a design that promises high performance and good seaworthiness, to feel part of both a larger pleasure boat market, to which it ispa for space and autonomy, but also a smaller sized pleasure boat, of which it maintains ease of use and overall volumes.

Vizyo 25 – Exterior & Interior

In terms of exterior lines, the Vizyo 25 features a visually light hull, ending in an inverted prow that restores balance to forward projecting lines. An outer profile curves from this toward the stern, drawing an overall pleasing hull. On the other hand, the hull is designed to reduce friction as much as possible, decreasing the minimum speed for this to glide, and providing safe, high-performance water lines.

The deck features a symmetrical layout, with a small aft swim platform to facilitate access and descent to the sea. In the bow we find a full-beam sundeck, conveniently reached through passages outside the bridge, consisting of two particularly wide steps that can also be used as seating. Instead, aft we find a pair of facing sofas, between which a coffee table is sandwiched, while the dashboard presents a restrained but complete structure, served by double bench seating. Also in the bridge block is access to the below deck, where we find a toilet and a cabin with a double bed instead.

Vizyo 25 – Hull and Propulsion

In addition to offering a good layout to satisfy relaxation and leisure, the Vizyo 25 also promises water lines that are the result of careful design with regard to hydrodynamic resistance, ensuring good trim, and reducing fuel consumption. Particularly then, the entire project is prepared to mount electric propulsion, especially by providing an ideal containment structure to accommodate dedicated battery pack rooms, an option for which a suitable partner is still under discussion, pending more high-performance batteries in terms of range. Pending electric implementation, the Vizyo 25 is currently powered by an outboard, whose power can range between 200 and 400 horsepower, for cruising speeds of 25 knots, with maximums of 45. The expected price? Approximately €110,000.00, excluding VAT and without motorization.
