The first project in synergy between Wally and Ferretti is the new Wallytender 48, the iconic model of Wally that is reborn in a more modern key.

Wally’s DNA

This mega dinghy keeps intact everything that Wally has always represented: a motor boat with an unmistakable design combined with flexibility of use and adrenaline-filled performance. A Med Boat in every respect, designed for those who want to be in contact with the sea living the boat as a day cruiser that “forgives”, that is, with which you are not forced to return on time at the end of the day, but where you can stop to sleep.

Conceived as a real runabout, this renewed Wallytender is designed for daily navigation as well as a service boat for maxi yachts and private villas. The spirit of the origins, when Wally invented this kind of motorboat, the mega tender, which did not exist before.

What’s new about this Wallytender?

The new 48 Wallytender takes this innovative life on board experience to the next level with new features and characteristics. The stylistic elements that define Wally’s desire to always combine design and functionality remain unchanged: an approach that is evident in every detail of the lightweight composite construction. The most evident evolution are the larger internal volumes that ensure more comfort and increase the possibilities of use.

Comfort at anchor and at sea

In navigation, the seats in the cockpit can be positioned facing forward, while when the anchor serves the dining table. The stern sundeck can be lifted entirely to access the engine compartment, or it is possible to open only the upper section, under which there is a storage space. Additional lockers are located under the bow sundeck and in a piece of furniture located behind the helm seats, ideal for stowing water toys such as an inflatable SUP and diving equipment.

In addition to the hardtop, the bow deck and cockpit can be protected from the sun with the bimini supported by carbon fibre uprights (also stowable in the locker behind the seats) – a solution that Wally introduced in 2003 with the 118 Wallypower. Another practical solution developed from the opening wall of the 118 Wallypower are the foldable sections of the walls that increase the size of the stern platform at berth, served by a retractable walkway that also becomes a bathing ladder with five steps. The full hull fender, a distinctive feature of Wally, provides an alternative solution to the mooring fenders.

Motorisation: up to 38 knots

The new Volvo IPS 650 engines (coupled for a maximum power of 1020hp), controlled by a user-friendly joystick and capable of reaching a top speed of 38 knots, are standard propulsion.

The Iil 48 Wallytender is a family-friendly boat that is safe for children thanks to its single level deck, teak deck and deep walls, so you can always feel “in” the boat rather than “above” it.
