When it comes to design and new solutions, Wally has always led the way, and this Wallywhy100 is the latest addition to perhaps the most representative range of this pairing, not coincidentally named “spaceship”-spaceship by Wally himself.

Even a layman cannot fail to notice the extreme lines adopted in the exteriors of this vessel. The design is monolithic, with a hull that gathers most of the volumes below deck and fades into the superstructure, creating an interplay of shapes that redefines the classic interior/exterior dichotomy. The choice of contrasting colors, with the windows, all blacked out, standing out against the metallic gray of the sides in long horizontal stripes, elongates and slims the entire hull. The blending of interior and exterior is also aided by the extensive use of glazing, especially in the superstructure: fully open 180° aft, it can be closed and protected by sliding glass when needed, without giving up the sea view. The fully glazed ceiling also gives this illusion of being under the open sky while remaining sheltered at all times. Finally, the bridge seats, similar to those on the larger sisters in the spaceship range, also deserve a mention; they really do look like they came from the future of a science fiction movie.
Below deck, two areas can be distinguished: that of the crew, for whom the entire bow area is reserved, which also includes the large galley, and that for guests and the owner. Both areas are served by twin, independent staircases. The owner’s cabin is thus located amidships. It is full beam, with the ensuite bathroom located on the port side, divided by a glass wall to let light through from the windows on that side, but can be darkened on command. For guests there are two other cabins, one double with private bath and one with twin beds, plus another bathroom for common use.

At the stern, of course, you cannot miss the folding bulwarks and hydraulic platform for bathing and launching the tender. From a technical point of view, Wallywhy100 has an overall length of 21.46 m and a beam of 5.73, is equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS1350 engines (1000 hp) capable of a maximum speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, with a range of 340 nautical miles.
