Windy-SLR-60Windy launches its definitive chase boat. Windy SLR 60, a 60 feet (18 meters) long boat, features a range of 850 nautical miles at 25 knots of speed. It will be called Windy SLR 60 and was commissioned by an owner who was looking for an appropriate tender for his yacht.

Windy SLR 60, a superyacht tender

Once finished, this new Windy will enter the shipyard’s catalog as the flagship of the range, designed by the same design studios that dealt with the mother boat’s design: Malcolm Mckeon Yacht Design for the exteriors and Studio Liaigre for the interiors. The result is a modern sleek design, despite the abundant volumes both on and below deck. Highlights include a comfortable sun pad, many convivial areas and a steering console protected by a wide windscreen and a T-Top. Sea trials have already begun and results are great.

The goal of creating a boat aesthetically beautiful but capable of great seaworthiness seems to have been achieved, as well as one of keeping the deck dry from splashes as much as possible even when sailing above 40 knots, the top speed that the flagship will reach once perfected. The SLR 60 was designed to support the owner in any type of activity, from long-range cruising to fishing or diving.
