Reverse osmosis is the process behind the operation of the watermakers that an Italian company in Marsala produces. The name, Osmosea, recalls the very filtration technique that allows, for example, compact desalinators on small boats. From 24 liters/hour to more than 600 liters/hour-the range is really wide.

You control them from the on-board instrumentation or panel
The desalinators of
Osmosea
thanks to their compatibility with the NMEA 2000 protocol, communicate perfectly with any type of multifunction display on the on-board instrumentation, allowing the system to be viewed and controlled from there. In addition, the physical remote panel and touchscreen panel allow, depending on the model, control of all desalinator functions. Controls and info include Start and Stop (also automatic, with a programmable timer), water pressure, gallons produced, and salinity monitoring.
25 liters per hour with a weight of less than 25 kg
The beauty of these reverse osmosis desalinators is that they operate completely without the aid of a power generator. Their operation relies solely on on-board batteries, because they are low-energy systems and additionally efficient because they recover about 85 percent of the energy produced. Because of this convenience, Osmosea ‘s systems are perfect for installation even on small boats without a generator. The smallest and lightest model is the
S25
of the New12S ranges, which at 24 kilograms in weight can produce 25 liters per hour with a power consumption of just over 100 W. Also in the same range we find several models up to the
S150
which produces 150 liters per hour with 60 kilograms of weight and a power consumption of 600 W.
