YOT 36 – Sailing

YOT 36 is the first catamaran of the new YOT Power Catamarans brand, part of the Catana Group, which has been in the market for sailing and motor multihulls for more than 40 years under the Bali and Catana brands. Introduced at the last Cannes Boat Show, the YOT 36 is a catamaran designed for day trips and weekends, but can also adapt to sailing on small cruises. If you want to buy it, you can customize it the way you like it best and order it directly online at the YOT Power Catamarans website. And there are so many customizations.

So you can make your own custom catamaran

If you open the shipyard’s configurator, you will immediately see the render of the YOT 36 catamaran in 3D, with the ability to simply explore the boat 360° with your mouse, from bow to stern and even under the hull. We had told you a preview of the catamaran here. It is just under 11 meters long with a large open deck aft (flowing into the dashboard served by 2 + 2 sport seats), protected by the hard top and front and side windshields. Optionally, you can also decide to have the control area fully enclosed with Starglass walls.

Propulsion

Motorization-the first step required during online configuration-is given by two Mercury outboards: 225 hp V6 in the standard version and 300 hp V8 as an option (+51,800 €). There is also the possibility, with less than 5 thousand, to add Zipwake interceptors.

Instrumentation

The dashboard features a 7-inch Mercury Vesselview display as standard, otherwise the pair of 12-inch Simrad NSX multifunction displays can be chosen as an option. Optional and still from Navico’s brand is the radar with 20 MN range.

Deck, lighting and sound

As for the deck, in addition to the choice of color for the deck (classic teak color or light gray), you can have an electrically actuated shade awning to cover the aft area, and also one with a two-pole structure for the bow area. In the aft engine area we can add racks to protect the outboards, two bollards to connect water toys, and-if you don’t have one-you can add a carbon folding gangway. Music entertainment is provided by four Clarion speakers, but as an option there is a JL Audio system with six speakers and subwoofer, and for lighting there are Lumishore underwater and exterior lights.

Let’s turn to the implants. To the two fresh water tanks of 150 liters each, the 40-liter boiler can be added to have hot water, and if desired, a gray water tank can also be had. Only if you choose the most powerful motorization can you install a 6 kVA / 220 V generator and a triple MasterVolt lithium battery of 18 KWh total. Solbian solar panels (716 W) are also available as options. Other possible customizations include curtains and shades, upholstery, which can be had in custom-quilted Jersey Oak upon request, and air conditioning (only with 300-horsepower V8s installed). The electric grill to be installed in the wet bar, 51-liter drawer refrigerator, and ice machine are also optional.
