What a boat the new YOT 36 will be

YOT 36 (10.92 x 3.99 m) will be the first-and smallest-of a range with outboard motors from 36 to 50 feet, to be launched over the next few years. After that, the shipyard will focus on a range of catamarans with inboard engines. She will be an 11-meter walkaround catamaran with an open deck aft, sunbathing area, salon and galley, while below deck we find two cabins. The idea behind the new YOT 36 catamaran is to offer a catamaran designed from the beginning as a powerboat, with unique features in terms of design and form. Indeed, if the Group ‘s other motor catamarans (those of the Bali brand ) recall the world of sailing and are inspired by it in design, with the new YOT 36 the shipyard wants to make a breakthrough. In fact, the design of this boat reflects a desire to show something new to the market: a definitely high-end motor catamaran with agile , high-performance lines also designed to optimize fuel consumption.

Comfort was kept as the main concept during the design phase, to make a catamaran where it is always pleasant to be on board, whether sailing or in port. The concept and design of theYOT 36 was entrusted to the J&J Design studio, who worked to create a boat that is easy to maneuver even for beginners, but can satisfy even the most experienced owners. It lends itself excellently both to use as a daycruiser and to outings and cruises for a few days with family or friends. The shipyard’s style aims to focus on modern design, generous and functional spaces, and powerful yet stable and safe catamarans. The first example of theYOT 36 will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 while the first deliveries are scheduled for 2024.
