The new YOT 41 is a twelve-footer that is definitely out of the box: forget the crowded walkaround daycruiser market that is all the rage right now, and then you can understand what YOT 41 is all about.
It is a catamaran, but of the latest generation: the maximum beam is therefore a lot (4.48 m) but not exaggerated (so it is not a sailing cat to which they have eliminated the mast) but can go up to 5.80 with the side decks open . The deck layout of YOT 41 does not include the two classic side walkways but a large central passageway, comfortable and safe, through which one can reach both the second cockpit/living area in the bow and access the two double cabins, both with separate shower stalls. This twelve-footer is the second model launched YOT Power Catamarans (the motor division of the Catana/Bali giant in the sailing cat worlde) after YOT 36. The next model coming (in 2026) is the 46, again with outboard engines. However, the French shipyard also plans to launch a range of larger catamarans, with fly and inboard propulsion. At the stern it has two outboard engines, in the case of the test two 400-hp Mercury V10s but the basic version starts with two 300-hp V8s. Speed, fuel consumption and price in our video.
