Zar Imagine 115 – The bar cabinet behind the command post

We got on board

Aboard the Zar Formenti Imagine 115, the first sensation we had is one of spaciousness: no narrow passageways, no furniture too attached to each other give ample livability on board. The aft area is occupied by a double sofa that converts to a chaise longue sundeck by folding down the backrest, which is crossed by a walkway to allow safe access aboard for those not so sure about walking on the tubular.

Zar Imagine 115 – The Living Area

Matching these sundecks, placed on the bulwarks, are two L-shaped seats that “embrace” two small wooden tables (folding down) that transform this area into a living room, for spending convivial moments with friends. This same area is served by a kitchen cabinet, with a refrigerator, sink and hotplate for heating food. As always, close to the galley cabinet is the command post, with two profiled but very comfortable armchairs that allow the captain to observe what is around him covered by a T-Top. The bow, however, is entirely occupied by the sunbathing area.

Zar Imagine 115 – The Cabin

There is ample space below deck as well; in fact, we find a double cabin carved out under the dunnage amidships and accessed by moving the ladder to the lower deck, a cabin with a double bed and numerous lockers in the foredeck, and a bathroom room with a separate shower.

Zar 115 Imagine – The tall, sharp bow

From the outside, the dinghy is striking in its design, typical of Zar Formenti, with a very high and sharp bow, devoid of tubulars, which are joined harmoniously close to the jaw. The hull is double-step and there is a bow thruster for maneuvering; the model on display, a world premiere, was equipped with two Mercury V10 outboards of 425 hp each.
